“Meditation in a Busy World” will be the discussion topic at our Live Online Member Social on June 14, 2016 at 7pm CST on Skype (call in to username “SNSociety”).

Whether you can attend or not, do you have any ideas for subquestions or comments on this?

How about meditating in a social world? Meditating with others can sometimes exasperate the busy-ness. Even just between my wife and I, our morning schedules are divergent enough to make finding a time to meditate difficult!

Oh, so you mean the difficulties and/or advantages of meditating with others versus alone?

Basically, yes, though I don’t just mean your stereotypical situation of meditating in the same meditation hall as others, where you’re physically with others but mentally essentially alone. I also mean living with others who meditate, and trying to coordinate your schedules and do meditative stuff together, but it complicates the situation: schedules refuse to align, one person may be more into than the other, etc.
